GLO(s) to help students prepare for assessment of visual practice

We are developing a GLO to help students prepare for assessment and critique of visual practice - sometimes known as 'the crit'. This resource will introduce students to the variety of forms that studio critiques can take and help them prepare for and benefit from this form of feedback. It will incorporate video footage of actual crits to show the range of communicative modes in use, and illustrate staff and student discussion of the issues raised. We are using GLOmaker to make it easy to generate a range of variations for different studio disciplines (and for other kinds of presentation in disciplines other than art and design) and to enable students to enter their own answers in response to prompt questions, to help them prepare fin advance of the formal crit.
