Medical Sociology
Nov 9 2009, 6:17 AM EST
We're updating the old Medical Sociology online modules using GLO-Maker. These have been highly successful and widely used over the years (they were originally produced in the late 90s) but they are sliding into obsolescence and are badly in need of a 21st C makeover. GLO-maker seems like a useful product to achieve this and we are already starting to identify new components. The academic side of the project is being overseen by Simon Cohn, Senior Lecturer and Medical Anthropologist who runs the Social Context of Health and Illness course for first year Cambridge medical students. We plan to produce a number of podcast-type Flash videos and add some self-assessment and reflective questions.Do you find this valuable?
