GLO Maker has been used to create a series of learning objects for the Anytime Literacies Learning Environment (ALLE) Project. The LTIG (Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants Programme) JISC funded project has created a flexible learning opportunity in the form of a digital journey comprised of a series of learning objects, which enables learners to embark on their own interactive journey and help them develop their learning and literacy skills. The learner journey is in three parts (the digital tools journey, the library journey and academic journey) and is currently being used by first-year business students at Thames Valley and London Metropolitan universities. The Learner Journey can be tried out at http://hermes.tvu.ac.uk/learnerjourney/index.html At the end of the project (July 2011) the Learner Journey and all the learning objects it comprises will be available for institutions to use and/or adapt (using the GLO Maker tool). In the meantime, we'd be interested to receive feedback on the journey and its component parts.

For examples of fast development see the two GLOs on Concept Mapping and Note Taking:

The two GLOs were developed in one day.
